Living Biblically: Helping People Navigate Life's Challenges

About This Event

Please join us for a morning where we will explore what it means to connect Scripture to everyday life. Together we will be looking at how we can support and encourage people to navigate life and its hardships biblically in both formal and informal counselling contexts.

Whether you are someone who would like to learn more about helping others, are involved informally in supporting others in your church or a professional counsellor, this morning will be a great blessing in equipping you in your care and ministry to those around you.

Morning tea provided.

Earlybird tickets $25 per person (until 27/10/24)

About This Event

We live in a world where the church is increasingly seen as irrelevant to the struggles of everyday life. Yet our world is also becoming more and more weighed down by the problems of mental illness growing in number and impact on people's lives.

Co-author of the recently published book "Mental Health and Your Church" Steve will be expanding on topics covered in this must read book. Steve's teaching draws on his years of work in both psychiatry and pastoral ministry, speaking with a clarity that helpfully connects Scripture to the stuff of everyday life.
